The market for nano-additive materials has been growing exponentially since 2012, with almost 5040 consumer products containing nanoparticles in 2021. In parallel, the increasing recommendations, definitions and legislations underline need traceability of manufactured methods able to identify quantify “nano” dimensional character product. From a multi-technic approach, this paper aims compare mesurands extracted from SAXS/BET (specific surface area) SEM (diameter equivalent projected on different TiO 2 powder issued referenced, synthesized materials, raw (additives) products. influence various parameters such as anisotropic factor, interaction between particles, size distribution extraction steps are discussed illustrate their impact diameter values two measurands. These results difficulties (nano)particles characterization. SAXS complementary techniques depending level characterization required. • Characterization form pristine Comparison measurands by using analysis families achieve parameter.
